Camp Leslie Overview

Founded in 1939, 4-H Camp Leslie is a residential and day camp open to all youths ages 7 to 14.  The camp is located on a beautiful 14-acre pine grove and athletic field with over 800 feet bordering on Pentucket Pond in Georgetown, Massachusetts.

Membership in a 4-H Club is not a requirement to come to Camp Leslie.  A well-balanced program of educational activities including, but not limited to, swimming, challenge activities, nature, environmental awareness and athletics is designed to provide an atmosphere of character building.

The 4-H camping experience gives youth the opportunity to gain valuable life skills in decision making, peer relations, cooperation and independent living.  Building self-confidence and a positive self-image is a valuable benefit to a week at Camp Leslie.

In addition to the ongoing training of the camp staff, 4-H Camp Leslie voluntarily submits to an accreditation process through the American Camp Association (ACA).  ACA Accreditation means that the camp undergoes a thorough (over 300 standards) review of its operation – from staff qualifications and training to emergency management.
